ABOUT jason
Two decades into my career as a marketer at General Mills my life partner of 17 years passed away. At that moment, everything changed. Shaken with profound personal loss, I found comfort and inspiration through a new sense of purpose— life with greater meaning and a desire to make a real difference in people's lives.
I witnessed firsthand how operating with purpose can energize teams, unlock creativity and growth, and contribute to a better community. And when applied to the marketing of national brands, it fuelled award-winning work and industry acclaim. (Strategy Magazine's Marketer of the Year 2015, Marketing Magazine's Marketer of the Year 2014). But most importantly, work was fun again! I delighted in watching my staff succeed and bring out the best in each other. We created a safe space to laugh and cry, the hallmark of an emotionally healthy team.
Then, after 25 years, I left it behind to pursue my passion for being a coach (CPCC – Certified Professional Co-Active™ Coach). Now I help create a safe space where people discover their potential, improve their emotional wellbeing, performance, and relationships.
I work with clients from all walks of life. Some are in business, and some are in a creative field. Many do work that requires both, like marketing, advertising, journalism, broadcasting, or the arts.
I reside on the west side of Toronto, on the Humber River Ravine. When I'm not running or cycling along the river, I'm hiking or skiing out West. I'm blessed to have found true love twice in my life, this time with Mark—my partner of 10 years. Besides being a loving and supportive life partner, he's a fantastic physiotherapist. So, I keep him very, very, busy.
